Mask Mandate Lifted

We strive to keep our congregation’s health as a top priority. Social distancing and sanitation measures are practiced by staff with regard to greeting and seating. Since the governor and the Jefferson Parish president have lifted the mask mandate, your Session has agreed to do the same, with the following guidelines:

  • Beginning Sunday May 2nd, face masks are now optional while inside the church. We do ask you to continue to practice social distancing.
  • If you prefer to worship with everyone masked, the Fellowship Hall will be designated for that purpose.
  • Masks will be required for adult Sunday School Class in Fellowship Hall.
  • Sunday School for grades K-12, Children’s Church, and Nursery:

Regarding Sunday School, Grades K-12, Children’s Church, and Nursery:

  • Teachers may make their own decisions about mask wearing in their classes.
  • Masks not required for children 7 and under.

We are grateful for your patience through this difficult time. We ask you to monitor your health carefully as always, and if you are not well, please worship via our livestream.

We are thankful for our congregation, for the blessings God has given to us, and for your faithfulness in worship and in giving through this past year.  We look forward to what God has in store for us and to restoring our entire church program with no restrictions.

We love you all.

God bless,
Your Session
